That’s a theme (courtesy of the Aspen Chamber of Commerce) that I saw (in graphics), various places around town, that caught my attention immediately as I walked all around Aspen, Colorado, on a recent, short, weekend trip from Seattle.

Last summer, one afternoon, I went out on a small motorboat with my kids and some of their friends, on Lake Union, in Seattle.

As the plane took to the skies at 6 a.m., on Tuesday (Feb. 24) morning, from Seattle, Washington, I leaned forward slightly to peer out the window from my seat.
I’ve always liked sitting by the window, not only to transform my body into the shape of a crescent moon, but to take in the view, and try to identify familiar buildings, sites and old landmarks along the way.
I was headed to Asheville, North Carolina, for an Excellent Adventure!

The Season of Gratitude is upon us. This whole month, including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s, always prompts me to think more about what I’m grateful for.
But it’s really important to me to be grateful every moment of the year and find ways to give.
