That’s a theme (courtesy of the Aspen Chamber of Commerce) that I saw (in graphics), various places around town, that caught my attention immediately as I walked all around Aspen, Colorado, on a recent, short, weekend trip from Seattle.

Last summer, one afternoon, I went out on a small motorboat with my kids and some of their friends, on Lake Union, in Seattle.

As the plane took to the skies at 6 a.m., on Tuesday (Feb. 24) morning, from Seattle, Washington, I leaned forward slightly to peer out the window from my seat.
I’ve always liked sitting by the window, not only to transform my body into the shape of a crescent moon, but to take in the view, and try to identify familiar buildings, sites and old landmarks along the way.
I was headed to Asheville, North Carolina, for an Excellent Adventure!
How many of you out there have ever been rejected by someone you really cared about?
I think that everyone has either rejected someone or has been rejected at some point in their lives. Perhaps, multiple times. Don’t you agree?

One day I decided I’d like to make my own CD, to include a front and back cover, the words, and the song. I had just written a song and that inspired me to make my own jacket for it.
All the other times I wrote a song, I would just put it on paper, enjoy it for a few days and then tuck it away in my song folder. But not this time.
