We left Seattle in three waves, on different flights, but we all arrived in Paris within a couple of hours of each other.
Tim, Pauline and Evie was the first group to leave Seattle and arrive in Paris.
Pauline’s Mom and Dad was the second group to arrive shortly after them.
Then I arrived about two hours later.
In the previous post, “WEEPLESS IN SEATTLE……but still bummed out about it, nevertheless”, I mentioned I was working a lot of overtime trying to pay off the debt I incurred from unexpected and excessive car repair expenses, and to replace the things that were stolen from my house.
One day at the beginning of this year (2016), I was looking out the window at my “purrrty cat”, trying to decide whether to sell it as is, or whether to restore and keep it, which I knew might cost several thousand dollars.
It had been sitting there for a while because the transmission went out and, at the time, I didn’t have the four to five thousand dollars they estimated it would cost to fix it.
THE DILEMMA: KEEP IT OR LET IT GO
When I travel, I don’t usually request a specific room at the hotels. Sometimes I might ask for one with a water view if available.
But it’s not that important to me because I don’t plan on being in that room very much during my stay. I’d rather be out doing something. Continue Reading…
